Our breads and baked goods are made fresh everyday in our bakery in West Norwood, baked in the small hours of the morning and then delivered to all our shops.

Blackbird Bakery started over 20 years ago on a market stall in East Dulwich. Along our journey we have met an amazing community of customers who share our passion for traditional and hand crafted products and with them we have slowly grown our family, our products and our business.
We now have 8 shops across South London and 2 market stalls, including our original East Dulwich pitch, where our ethos of only using natural ingredients, traditional methods and baking especially good bread have allowed us to flourish.Bread is at the heart of our bakery, but we also make cakes, pastries, preserves, dry goods/cereals and even dog biscuits.

Our signature bread and best seller. Leavened with a natural sourdough starter and fermented for 48 hours, this leads to an open crumb, chewy texture and sour notes. It is then baked on the stone of the oven to achieve a deep and crispy crust. Not only delicious but believed to be good for gut health, this is an all round winner.
