Our Senior Groomer and Tutor, Chris, is in his sixteenth year as a dog groomer. He holds a Professional Diploma in Dog Grooming, obtaining a Distinction, City and Guilds Level II Dog Grooming and OCN Level 3 Diploma He holds a BSc(Hons) In Animal Behaviour and Welfare, and followed this up with a P.G.C.E.
Chris primarily works in the salon now, helping others develop their skills en route to becoming qualified Dog Groomers. He will insist this is only to fund his merry gang of rescue and re-homes. These include: West Highland Terriers, Yorkie x's, a Labradoodle, poodles, shih-tzus, a shih-tzu x poodle and a very mischievous beagle.

There is a lack of regulation in the Dog Grooming Industry. This allows anyone with a pair of Clippers and Scissors to call themselves a dog groomer. Dog and Bone Grooming offer training on a variety of levels. Starting with those who want to groom their own dog, right up to qualifying as a professional groomer.
