Jukes Funeral Services
We have many years of experience to draw upon when it comes to arranging funerals, and we can provide you with in-depth advice on creating the perfect dignified and elegant ceremony for your loved one. Our services start the moment we pick up the phone to answer your call. Your funeral director will guide you through all the items you need for the funeral to take place and help you personalise the ceremony for your loved one.

We will provide the highest standard of support, from the initial call to after the funeral has taken place. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Funeral pre-arrangement wishes and pre-paid plans are sensible options for anyone. They provide financial peace of mind for you and your loved one, and they give you the chance to plan a service that has been tailor-made for you.

The Team
Report
My name is Sophie Jukes and as the Managing Director I hold qualifications with both National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and British Institute of Funeral Directors (BIFD). I have held positions with independent and large group companies at various levels and have vast experience in all aspects of organising funeral services.
What to do
Report
If a loved one passes away at home (and this was expected), the first this thing to do is contact their doctor. The doctor will attend to verify the death, and this must be done before contacting your appointed funeral director. The Medical Certificate of Cause of Death will normally be completed when the doctor visits your home, though you may need to visit the surgery to obtain it.
Our Services
Report
A direct cremation is where the cremation itself takes place completely separately from the personal farewell or memorial services. Losing a loved one can be a very emotional time, but we have the competence and experience needed to handle everything efficiently. There is a vast choice of crematoria in Staffordshire and throughout the UK.
The Jukes Family
Report
The Jukes family have been in the industry for over 60 years. We are proud to be a family business that provides the level of service, personal care, respect and dignity that is only to be expected from a company with such a proud record. The history of Jukes Funeral Services starts in a small joinery shed in Birmingham's Balsall Heath area, where a company was set up in the 1950s by brothers Derick and Dennis Jukes.
A Family Business
Report
Being an independent family business is especially important to us. It means that we can provide a personal service that only a family-run business can. The values, attention to detail, empathy, reliability, care, dedication, passion, warmth, support and overall quality of service are an integral part of our service.
