Planning a Funeral for a loved one can be one of the hardest things you will do. In a time of grief, it can be difficult to focus on planning and arranging a Funeral. With William Mitchell, you can be reassured that we will be on hand to provide you with all the support that you need. At William Mitchell Funeral Directors, we try to bring you some solace by taking care of the details and proceedings.
Funeral Services

Once we have been contacted, our Funeral Directors will arrange to meet with you to discuss the funeral requirements. Arrangements can be made at home or, if you would prefer, you are welcome to call into our office in Aldridge. At this time, your preferences for the Funeral will be discussed, including day and time of the service, flowers, newspaper notices, choice of coffin, etc.
Wakes

A wake, or Post-Funeral gathering, is the ideal time to reflect on the deceased's life and to catch up with family and friends to look back on old times. From simple refreshments following the Funeral, to alternative catering venues, William Mitchell can assist with all elements of your wake. William Mitchell work closely with a number of local venues, whom we can contact on your behalf.

A Direct Cremation without a ceremony is known as a Direct Cremation. It is specifically used for those who would prefer a simpler choice Funeral, or do not wish to hold a Funeral for their loved one's in the traditional sense. The main difference between this and a traditional Funeral is that there is no Funeral Service and no one present at the cremation.
