Services
Verruca Treatment
Verrucas are treated using acid-based therapies, cryotherapy, or home care advice. At Pond Podiatry, we assess each patient's lifestyle and health to recommend the most effective method, ensuring minimal discomfort and recurrence. Our approach combines clinical expertise with personalized follow-up to guarantee optimal recovery outcomes.
Nail Surgery
For chronic ingrown toenails, we offer partial or full nail removal under local anaesthetic. A caustic substance prevents regrowth, providing long-term relief. Our procedure prioritizes patient comfort, with aftercare guidance to minimize infection risk and promote swift healing, particularly for diabetic or high-risk patients.
Orthotics
Custom orthotics restore natural foot alignment, alleviating pain from flat feet or structural imbalances. By distributing pressure evenly, these devices reduce strain on knees, hips, and the lower back. Our podiatrists fit orthotics specifically to each patient's foot shape and biomechanics for maximum effectiveness.
Corn & Callus Treatment
Corn and callus removal involves carefully trimming thickened skin to relieve pressure. We advise against DIY methods due to infection risks, especially for diabetics. Our treatments restore smooth, pain-free feet using sterile tools and post-care recommendations to prevent recurrence through proper footwear or gait adjustments.
General Foot Care
Regular foot health checks prevent issues like ingrown toenails or infections. Services include professional toenail cutting, hard skin removal, and hygiene advice. We emphasize preventative care for diabetic patients and those prone to foot complications, ensuring early detection of potential problems during every consultation.

Had an ingrowing nail for some time, popped in on a Friday lunchtime to enquire about sorting it.. later that same afternoon I walked out with some minor bits of nail missing.. 100% will be back if any other nail plays up..
