A La Carte has been a fixture in Bruntsfield for over 20 years and is one of the best spots in Edinburgh for traditional home made food. We have a fantastic range of frozen meals, cakes and puddings with a window that is overflowing with delicious scones, sausage rolls, croissants, brownies and home baking every day.
Recently we have worked to expand our range of meals and cakes that are made with non gluten containing ingredients, the list now contains many of our frozen meals and several sweets and cakes for those with a sweet tooth. We make everything on the premises so just ask us if you need any information about allergens in any of our products.

Alongside our scones, traybakes, cakes, sausage rolls and biscuits we have a tasty and convenient range of frozen food available in our Bruntsfield shop. Everything is made by us using traditional recipes, just like the ones you would use at home. Packed in single portion and frozen and ready to reheat for a simple and delicious meal.

We have a delicious range of platters, salads and main courses that are perfect for any event. Our platters come in two sizes to suit your numbers and you can choose which canapes you would like for your platter from our selection. For a great centerpiece for your buffet, we have home cooked hams or dressed Scottish salmon.

Our menu changes with the seasons but always includes all our best sellers and classic favourites. With a range of dishes including Fish, Chicken, Pork, Beef, Duck and Lamb, along with a few Vegetarian options, there is something to suit everyone's taste. All our dishes are made using traditional recipes, exactly like the ones you use at home, we don't use any preservatives, flavourings or artificial colourings, just good healthy ingredients.
