Granite Underwriting's Private Car products are aimed at the non-standard motor insurance market. We look to compete in areas that are not well supported by traditional motor insurers. In the main, our pricing is of a bespoke nature that enables us to understand each risk on its own merits. Granite Underwriting offers a range of policies aimed at the Private and Public Hire market. We offer quotations for both short term and annual products and have a designated direct debit facility available to assist drivers with payments, if required. Agencies are extremely limited and when granted are only offered to brokers that have local knowledge and service their local area; we do not allow agencies to quote on a national basis.
Motor Trade

Unlike our competitors there are no straight decline categories. We write road risks (up to 6 drivers) and associated liability risks for the sole trader working from premises, or home, to the larger risks.
