Harestock Nursery is set in a convenient location on the outskirts of Winchester offering 50 places for children from 6 months up to 5 years. We offer extensive and designated play and engaging learning areas with a large, secure garden designed to develop and inspire the imagination. The staff will guide each individual child along their own individual learning trail.
We offer a place where children are all accepted for who they are and not fitted into some preconceived notion of what a child should be at their age. To work within the Statutory Framework and Practice Guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage. We would encourage parent partnership and active participation to optimise the child's growth and development to reach their full potential.

Services
Rooms
Report
The Robins room is a calm home from home where we will seek to follow the same routines parents have with their child. Each child will be allocated a key worker who will liaise with the parents and offer continuity for both parent and child to be able to offer the support ensuring the child's individual needs are met and supported throughout their time at the nursery, with each daily milestone being recorded in their personal diaries.
Admissions
Report
Parents and careers who want their child to attend the Nursery need to make an appointment with the Nursery Manager to have a guided tour of the premises, you will have the opportunity to discuss your child's individual needs and the hours and days you will require. Every new child will be introduced to the team who will care for you child and dates for settling in sessions would be arranged.
Nutrition
Report
We believe our mealtimes should be happy, sociable times and children are encouraged to interact between themselves and with staff at these times. We are committed to offering healthy, nutritious balanced meals and snacks which meet individual needs and requirements. We use the 'Eat better, start better' publication and guidelines to comply with the Early Years Foundation Stage welfare requirements.
