Paint Pots has a loving and homely environment, which is safe, secure and stimulating. The emotional, social and physical development of all the children in our care is our primary concern. We ensure equality of opportunity for all children. We promote self respect and a respectful, caring attitude towards our environment and others.
We treat each child as an individual in terms of his/her needs and learning journey. We have high expectations of each child and work to achieve the best possible outcomes in partnership with parents. We assess progress and plan activities to support each child on to their next step of development.

Freemantle
Report
Located at the city end of busy Waterloo Road, our Freemantle site was the first of the Paint Pots nursery buildings, established in 2000. This Victorian guest house retains a homely feel in which children and staff feel comfortable, whilst providing practical space for activities.
The nursery has a deceptively large and peaceful garden bounded by shady trees to create a haven in which play, learning, challenge, imagination, creativity and joy are very much in evidence every day!Hello my name is Jane - many of you will already know me as I have worked at Paint Pots one since 2006.

Sholing
Report
Located on the key commuter route into Southampton from the east of the city, our Sholing nursery serves families from a wide geographical area. Over recent years, we have developed the building and outdoors to provide a more spacious and comfortable environment whilst still retaining the homely feel that we believe is important to children's well-being.
Swaythling
Report
Visitors are often surprised to explore this nursery and to discover the extent of the space both indoors and out. The nursery comprises 2 houses joined at the entrance, each with a front conservatory providing ample room in which our children can learn and grow together. Turn right at the door to access the preschool.

Report
Situated between 3 local primary schools, Howard Road is a convenient location enroute to the city centre. A former guest house, which has been modernised and extended, it is always a hive of busy activity both upstairs (under 2s) and down. The garden provides an extension of the indoors learning environment.
Pre-School@Harefield
Report
Our preschool is located in the Harefield Primary School site. It is a separate expansive room with a large play-loft and areas for different group activities - a cosy book corner, craft area, sand and water play, physical activity and construction areas. There is easy direct access to the outside area enabling children to choose easily where they would like to play.
