Arrived nearly an hour earlier than our reservation due to trains, but staff accommodated us and seated us at our table. Service was prompt and the food was incredible.

Went for Sunday dinner, the roast beef was amazing, as we're the roast potatoes and gravy. The sticky toffee pudding was fantastic and the fact that I was allowed custard, ice cream and cream at no extra charge was outstanding. The staff as always are lovely and attentive - this is a place I highly recommend to anyone seeking good food in the area local or visitor you will not be disappointed. I will be back very soon.

Four of us went for an early evening meal, we all really enjoyed it. Good selection of meals - all of them were great. The staff were exceptional with our son who has severe learning disabilities, we were made very welcome as soon as we arrived.

Lovely food in a traditional pub. Was very popular - so book if you can. The food was tasty and good value with vegan options. The landlady was very helpful and friendly. Well worth a visit.
