Welcome to CSONS, a friendly cafe-restaurant in the heart of Shrewsbury serving breakfast, coffee, lunch, tea, cakes and dinner. We are four Crouch brothers (The CSONS ) with an addiction to great food and drink.
Being based in Shrewsbury we are surrounded by amazing growers and producers with whom we have built direct relationships. This close link with our suppliers means our menu changes on an almost daily basis in reaction to what is available and at it's best.

CSONS is a truly family affair. Our passion for food has been with us since our early years when Dad's work took us all over the world and we experienced the excitement and diversity of global food and drink. We've all followed our own journey through the world of food and CSONS is the culmination of over half a century of combined experience.

We use the best #LocallySourced produce and treat it with the respect it deserves by creating simple, unpretentious, #GloballyInspired and exciting dishes that shout about the ingredients, reflect the seasons and are full of flavour. At breakfast you can enjoy everything from homemade American style pancakes through to our take on a full English which is served with the best chorizo we could find and our signature smoked chilli sauce.

We put the same care and attention into our range of drinks as we do our food. It's a tough job having to sample all those great teas and coffees, local beers and ciders, stonking wines and superb cocktails, but in the interests of serving you the best it's what we do. We don't enjoy it at all, honestly!
