The food was actually really nice, its just a shame about the service. One of only two couples in the whole of the pub and we waited a long time for everything, drinks, mains and desserts, in fact, were still waiting for our Guinness cocktails
Spend more time on your paying customers than drinking and chatting between yourselves and youll get better reviews..

This has been my third time eating here(birthday meal) in 4 years, unfortunately i had an underwhelming experience again. The goat curry was tasty but a very small portion considering the bones outweigh the meat which was overly fatty even for goat ,odd tasting coleslaw and extremely bitter rocket.80's music piped through muffled speakers and cramped seating helped me make the decision that this will be my last time coming. A shame really as it could be easily rectified with a bit more care taken.

Service was very slow. Despite being sat next to the kitchen and staff walking past it took ages to even get a menu and give our drinks order. Then an even longer wait for food. And more waiting for more drinks - despite asking staff twice. Not a busy night - there were plenty of empty tables. Would not recommend.

Never been to a Caribbean night before. What a great atmosphere. Food was amazing and the staff were very welcoming. The main man and his daughter were great hosts. The People we met in the bar were all out to have a great time and enjoy the evening. Will definitely be going back.

The first time I came here was about 10 years ago to the Caribbean night it was such fun! I visited again as my friends wanted to visit somewhere out of town. The food was lovely, staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the food. We had salmon, curried goat and The wild kebab! We made room for pudding so I had the cheesecake my friends had the rum cake and the banana cake all were really nice. The chef was friendly he came over to have a chat with us. I would definitely come back and visit again.
