This is the best Italian restaurant Ive been to in Birmingham. The food is exquisite, the atmosphere is friendly and warm and makes you feel European at home. The live music adds this little extra and Ill always want to come back to this place where staffs are very friendly and you dont feel abroad at all. Very well done to Locanta family!

We visited Locanta on a Sunday in the run up to Christmas. The setting was very relaxed and tasteful. The food was excellent and the waiter was attentive but not pushy. Would not hesitate to come back.

Here's a restaurant you really should visit. We had tapas and pasta and everything that arrived on our table was absolutely first class. The atmosphere is great too. Make sure you book as it can get quite busy.

I hate giving a bad review but booked a table for 8.30pm, we arrived 10minutes early, but we're stood by the sanitiser box until 9pm. We were offered 2 complimentary drinks while stood waiting. The bloody Mary drink was so spicy we left after the first sip and 45minutes wait without a seat. Almost ruined our night but got a late table at San Carlo which was great.

The food is so delicious here and this restaurant has a lovely, lively atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and attentive, they altered dishes to suit us - they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything. Halal chicken and lamb served here. I really loved the vibe and the food. I will definitely visit again!
