Services
Tree Felling
Professional tree felling using section and straight felling techniques ensures safe removal of problematic trees. Our NPTC-certified arborists assess site constraints and execute controlled tree removals for both urban and rural environments. We prioritise safety through comprehensive risk assessments and utilise specialist rigging for complex access situations.
Crown Reduction
Expert crown reduction reshapes tree canopies to manage size while maintaining structural integrity. This technique increases light penetration and reduces wind resistance, benefiting both tree health and property aesthetics. Our arborists apply precise pruning methods that preserve natural growth patterns and promote long-term tree vitality.
Stump Removal
Complete stump removal eliminates residual tree roots through mechanical grinding. Our equipment processes stumps below ground level, allowing seamless landscaping integration. This service prevents regrowth and creates space for new planting or construction projects while maintaining site safety.
Hedge Maintenance
Custom hedge trimming services maintain formal and informal hedgerows to client specifications. We combine manual and mechanical techniques to achieve precise shaping while promoting healthy growth. Regular maintenance schedules ensure year-round aesthetic appeal and structural integrity for boundary definition.
Ground Maintenance
Comprehensive grounds maintenance includes grass cutting, shrub pruning, and weed control to maintain outdoor spaces. Our services support both residential and commercial properties through seasonal programmes that enhance visual appeal and ecological value. We integrate fertilisation and pest management for sustainable landscape health.

Seb and his team at Lothian Tree Specialists took down a HUGE Wellingtonia tree at our steading and carved a seat out of the base of the trunk. Slick, creative and impressive to watch them take down such a big tree so quickly. Would definitely recommend the service.
