Consultation and discussion of your problem, examination, evaluation and diagnosis with an outline of treatment and/or referral. We can refer for other investigations; such as X-ray, MRI or to a GP, specialist or another appropriate practitioner. You will be expected to remove some clothing, so please come appropriately dressed.

A first consultation with an osteopath is similar to that with any Registered Medical Practitioner. The osteopath will want to know how the symptoms began and the factors that affect them. They will ask a series of questions, which may at the time seem irrelevant. The answers to these questions will enable your osteopath to build a detailed picture of you and provide a diagnosis for your problem that is unique to you.

By Car: the practice has its own parking ( the row of cars at the rear are normally staff cars so please park in front of them ), as well as 'on-street' parking in Childer Road or 'pay and display' parking in Iliffe Way. If your appointment is at the StowHealth Centre, this has its own large car park.
