We have stayed here many times and it never fails to impress. The Beechwood is perfect for being near everything you need in South Shields. The owner is amazing and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. We have stayed at other B&Bs on Ocean Road in the past but none compare to here. Breakfast is amazing, rooms are all spotless and have everything you need. Highly recommend a stay here, you wont be disappointed!

This was my first time in South Shields and when I return I will not look anywhere else to stay. The owner is a fantastic host and will do anything to please you. We stayed 3 nights in the cleanest and most welcoming guest house I have ever stayed in. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. Thank you for a very memorable trip.

Exceptional service! My room was clean really big with the sun coming in in the mornings, big queen size bed with a single for kid complimentary coffee and hot chocolate with a small fridge to keep any extra you want... I'm very please as it's good value for money !!
