Stayed here last night for the Newcastle game and bit of sight seeing walk about after...I had the single room 48 the photos were true of the room to be honest you won't get a good value room not far from the city for a vert lean price. I wanted to stay in the city but with prices around 150 and up I couldn't justify it. This hotel is maybe 20 min walk straight down osbourne Road, turn right n right again through the church/metro just follow the path and your there
The room was set out very nice bit more than basic but clean bathroom (separate room) was very nice bed comfy all you need for

Such a lovely hotel, highly recommended. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable with excellent power showers. You feel at home as soon as you walk in with the wonderful welcome and the breakfast is a real treat.

A wonderful start to my Hadrians Wall walk. Bed and breakfast here was fantastic value, two nights for 70. Book up ahead to get this price. The en suite room was very comfortable and the cooked breakfast was delicious. The kippers were very nicely done, a very generous portion with poached eggs. The traditional English breakfast was good too. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Jesmond is a very lively and bohemian part of Newcastle. Its a student area so there are lots of good, cheap eateries around. Will definitely stay here again when next in Newcastle!

Lovely budget hotel. Good location in Jesmond. Clean rooms, the single room is a bit small, but has all the facilities squeezed in. Car parking limited on site, but a residents permit means you can park on the roads outside all day. Excellent breakfast. Staff are all very helpful.
