We recently celebrated 30 years of building our vision of a truly special and unique accommodation experience, where our guests can be assured of consistently high standards and quality of service in a peaceful and relaxed environment.

The York House Boutique Hotel is located in the coastal town of Whitley Bay in the North East of England. We are ideally positioned to access all areas of Tyne & Wear and Northumberland and only 25 minutes from Newcastle city centre by Metro and Newcastle International Airport is only 30 minutes drive by car.

At York House we try to ensure that your stay is as comfortable and relaxing as possible from start to finish, so with that in mind we hope the following guide to finding us will remove some travel stress. By car, from the A1 follow signs for the A19 (Tyne Tunnel). Then take the A1058 (East) which takes you directly to the beautiful coastline of Whitley Bay & Tynemouth.
