My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon to Whitley Bay, and from start to finish everything was a delight! Service was impeccable and staff are so friendly, the extensive breakfast menu is delicious, and our room was ideal (special mention to the incredibly shower!). Michael, Sam and all the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay, and we certainly did. Huge thanks to everyone at the York House Boutique Hotel!

Stopped there for 2 nights. On the website it says that their signature rooms have walk in showers. Room 1 which we paid extra for doesn't have one. You have to stand in the bath which has no handrail to help if you are a bit unsteady on you're feet and nowhere to hang your clothes. Breakfast was very though.

What a find! Absolutely FANTASTIC! The most welcoming greeting Ive ever experienced in a hotel and every other contact with a member of staff was to the same high standard. The room was clean and extremely comfortable with the furniture very well laid out. I cant remember ever jumping out of bed looking forward to a breakfast so much. Great selection and all cooked to perfection. The staff take a pride in serving the breakfast and rightly so. Highly recommended. 5
