Beautiful place, went here to see the forest of lights with my son, he loved it! Very quiet, clean place, who doesn't love nature and old buildings?

We arrived for Christmas day lunch and it was a superb experience from the moment we arrived staff where attentive and friendly canopies & sparkling wine on entering the dining room, the food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked, the wine I thought was fairly priced being a 4 * Hotel, thank you to all involved

The restaurant itself is beautiful but the food wasn't great. I ordered a steak with no sauces but it still arrived with a huge knob of garlic butter which ruined it for me. My husband ordered fish and chips and when he asked for vinegar, was told they had none as they were having a nightmare getting deliveries! The gentleman who looked after our table was an absolute delight, the best part of the evening but unfortunately we won't be returning any time soon.

Booked a Making Memories package and from start to finish it was a fantastic experience. From the champagne, flowers and chocolates on arrival to the 3 course meal and breakfast and everything in between. We stayed in The Lily room and it was beautiful with great views Might seem expensive but definitely worth the money. The staff were amazing and friendly. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to do something a bit special.
