Our 18 luxury rooms combine historic charm with modern comforts including smart TVs, free Wi-Fi, and premium bedding. Six executive rooms in the main building feature contemporary decor, while twelve lodge rooms offer purpose-built luxury in a quiet setting. All rooms include en-suite bathrooms, work desks, and tea/coffee making facilities.

Our restaurant serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner featuring traditional British dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. The Portland Bar & Grill Hotel, Bar and Kitchen Spa offers luxury beauty and holistic treatments including hot stone massages, LED facials, and aromatherapy. Our facilities will expand in 2023 to include a full gym, hydrotherapy pools, and dedicated treatment suites for enhanced relaxation.

From the moment I was welcomed until the moment of departure, I was made to feel very welcome by Khalifa and his team. Bar and waiting staff were also very helpful and pleasant. Evening meal was huge and very reasonable. Breakfast was excellent. A great little find - ample parking and very clean, sizeable and comfortable rooms in the lodge at the back of the main building. Will definitely use again when I am up that way. Best value? - book direct with them!! Many thanks

This was a short stay here while working in the area,It's a nice place,A pub,restaurant,cavery and hotel rooms and car parking available.The rooms were clean and tidy.The staff are friendly and welcoming

This was our first visit after 2 years due to covid restrictions. We were recognised and greeted warmly. Our room, which had been recently refurbished, was freshly cleaned, warm and very comfortable. Our breakfasts were freshly prepared and the usual huge portion. We had our evening meals in the restaurant and they were again very nicely cooked and presented and tasted delicious. Everyone made our visit a pleasant one, and we are looking forward to return to The Portland again early next year.

Stayed here for 2 nights, room was clean and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly and nothing seemed to much trouble for them. Breakfast was plentyful and buffet style with both continental and cooked. Had dinner there in the evenings and food was good. Would definitely recommend.
