Attended a wedding today. First rate service from start to finish. Everything was well planned and smoothly ran. The food was absolutely lovely. Looking forward to the evening now. We'll done to all the staff.

We stayed for one night on 27th November. The reception staff were warm and welcoming. Unfortunately that is where the positives end. The room was small for a double and reeked of the odour of fresh paint. The door didn't fit properly allowing light and noise to flood in. The hotel was also hosting a wedding reception, the disco was so loud the floor was vibrating. It seemed like the DJ was directly underneath us. Having booked directly with the hotel via email only a few weeks before they had ample opportunity to tell us and then allow us to make a decision accordingly. This didn't happen.

Had a really nice lunch. Quiet and sat in the atrium, which was beautiful.
Had to choose something else as wasn't available and settled on the hunters chicken. It was really tasty. The person I came in with had a burger which he liked he just mentioned the party was quite thing and a bit well done. Chips were amazing though.
Went to have pudding but again the one I chose wasn't there. So we decided to leave it. Staff were really friendly and genuinely apologetic. Will definitely come again.
