I used to be a fan, as a regular business stay visitor but the last 2 visits since lock down ended, have been very disappointing, and extremely pricey for the experience (Over 100 on average)
In particular the food, the bar menu is limited, overpriced and the quality of food very poor. 15 for a stone baked chicken and chorizo pizza ? I got an obviously store bought base, undercooked, 9 diameter at best, 6 slices of chorizo, overcooked inedible chicken. Previous order of fish and chips, equally underwhelming. If you must stay here then go out for food, the Harvester across the road

This is a very pleasant and we'll appointed hotel situated on the Loughborough University site. It has excellent recreational facilities, good sized well designed rooms and pleasant helpful staff.
