When applying for the property, the entire process was lacking communication on how they operate and how long it would take. They also ignored any emails about asking for an update on the process as we were obviously excited about renting the property. However, in their only email correspondence, it was phrased as if the application was just a formality and upon checking references succesfully, the property would be ours so we were patiently waiting. Upon a phone call a week later though, it turned out that they never even bothered starting our application as there were a few other applicants
