Services
Physiotherapy
Our physiotherapy services address musculoskeletal conditions through comprehensive assessment and treatment. Specialising in neck, back, shoulder, and knee pain, our therapists use manual techniques, exercise programs, and evidence-based interventions. Patients benefit from personalized care plans that promote recovery, improve mobility, and prevent future injuries through 1:1 specialist support.
Sports Injury Assessment
Specialist sports injury assessments identify biomechanical issues and injury risks. Using gait analysis and functional testing, we create rehabilitation programs for athletes. Services include golf screening, running analysis, and adolescent sports assessments to enhance performance while minimising injury recurrence through targeted interventions.
Shockwave Therapy
This advanced treatment uses high-energy sound waves to accelerate healing for chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Effective for tendon injuries, plantar fasciitis, and calcific shoulder tendinitis, shockwave therapy stimulates tissue repair and reduces pain. Patients typically experience improvement after 3-5 sessions with minimal side effects.
Women's Health
Specialised physiotherapy addressing women's health concerns including pre/post-natal care, pelvic floor dysfunction, and menopause-related musculoskeletal changes. Treatment combines manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education to improve quality of life while maintaining patient comfort and dignity throughout care.
Occupational Health
Workplace health solutions prevent and treat work-related musculoskeletal disorders. Services include ergonomic assessments, workstation adjustments, and rehabilitation programs for repetitive strain injuries. We help employees maintain productivity while reducing work absence through tailored workplace interventions and return-to-work support.

Popped-in today with elbow pain that began after some shovelling with poor form. Ged listened to my story, gave me a thorough examination and identified the problem quickly. Taped-up so the pain has now stopped, and given clear instructions of the exercises I need to do this next week or two. Very happy and I highly recommend him!

My daughter fell over on holiday next to a swimming pool and hurt her back. It didn't get better despite seeing a GP, having an xray, osteopath, accupuncture and gels etc. I was at my wits end on how to help her and arranged an appointment with a physio at Sandy Hill. After a very in depth consult and examination the physical problem was revealed and the physio gave my daughter a set of exercises to do which over the next few months solved her back problem. I am delighted with the service she received and am going back for my own foot problem tomorrow and hope Sandy Hill can help me too!
