For us the location was perfect. The hotel was very clean in public areas and the two bedrooms we booked. Andre was a perfect front of house host - nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Lots of more expensive hotels could learn from him. The other staff were also very helpful.

You get what you pay for. Room was comfortable and clean, bed sheets were dated but oh well. Staff were absolutely fantastic, cant fault them. Booked the day before NYE and cheapest hotel in this part of London. Would definitely have no regrets going back if I was going on another night out in Brixton.

Was just ok. Bathroom stunk of cigarettes and room wasnt clean. Asked them not to come while I was out someone came as my bags had been moved. Feel it wasnt very safe (no safe, no telephone in room, no lock on bathroom door) thin windows and thin duvet. Reception work weird hours until 11pm and then there is no one around but a number you can call if they answer.

Staff were very friendly. Room was nicely presented, basic yet fulfilling. Standard commodities like tea and coffee are provided. The toilet seat wasn't attached. That's the only downfall.

I stayed here for four days while visiting London. I'll say I definitely had mixed feelings about this hotel the first day but by the second day, I'd come to like it. For starters, all staff members we interacted with were friendly which is just a must this day and age. Our room itself looked nice but had such a strong cigarette odour. When we informed the staff we asked for a nonsmoking room, they did say they were trying to air it out by leaving the window open (which explained the flies I saw flying around in the room). Although this is something that should've never happened
