Westover Vets
You can visit our registration page to tell us about a new pet if you would like to register for any of our practices. Westover Vets has secured funding from the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership through one of its grant schemes. As the largest independent vet-owned group in the region, Westover Vets is precisely the sort of business that New Anglia LEP is keen to invest in.

Thanks to its prestigious veterinary clinic recently opened in North Walsham, with support from the New Anglia LEP, the group now boasts facilities more often found in regional veterinary hospitals. Moreover, the enhanced practice makes the uphill struggle of attracting skilled veterinarians and nurses to North Norfolk less difficult, to the benefit of all.
Services
Our Team
Report
Originally from Nottingham I qualified in 2005 from the Royal Veterinary College in London alongside my wife Rebecca. We spent a few years working in mixed practice in the Midlands before a year in Latin America where, in a moment of clarity, we realised that Norfolk was where we wanted to be. In 2014 I was offered the opportunity to join Westover and jumped at the chance, it remains one of the best decisions I have made.
Mission Statement
Report
Westover strives to treat clients as though they are family, and patients as though they are our own. We will always endeavour to attend to each animal's individual needs. By promoting learning, reflection and investment we will continually improve the service we offer and the veterinary medicine we practice.
Why Choose Us
Report
A free dog desensitisation session is available alongside numerous nurse clinics, to help pick up potential problems throughout your pet's life. Out Of Hours cover provided 24/7. A vet and a nurse will be available 24 hours a day 7 days a week to respond to any emergency. We can signpost to local behaviourist and dog training, as well as refer for physiotherapy, acupuncture and animal massage.
Small Animal
Report
We pride ourselves in both the exceptional level of care available to our patients and the friendly, approachable and affordable service we provide to their owners.

Our current small animal veterinary team of Chris Tomlinson, Toby Morrell, Will Nash, Ann-Marie Coughlan, Sarah Hunter, Rebecca Clayton, Simon Bewsey-Dyke, Kate Hassall and Sophie Bush have over 75 years of experience between them and are supported by a team of equally experienced, fully qualified veterinary nurses.
Complementary Medicine
Report
Behavioural problems are often some of the most difficult issues to rectify in our pets, but some of the most important to address. We are fortunate to have contacts with local canine behaviourists' and dog trainers, who are available for referrals and it means we are well placed to try and manage any potential behavioural problems your dog might have.
