I took my friends cat there and their professionalism and kindness impressed me, the vet managed to put the scare cat at ease. I have the feeling that they really care about the well-being of the animals. Efficiency and fair pricing help also. Many thanks for looking after us. Hello and welcome to Brockwell Vets website, keeping you up to date with all the news at the Practice. We are a Veterinary Surgery and Pet Shop in South London. We see clients from Herne Hill, East Dulwich, West Dulwich, Dulwich Village, Brixton, West Norwood, Camberwell, Tulse Hill, Stockwell, Peckham, Crystal Palace and many other areas.
Jenny came over from Greece straight after university with a European Union grant for work experience in Goddiva Referrals in Coventry. She has been working in the U.K continuously since, so has over twenty years experience and loves pets and being a vet. She bought Brockwell Veterinary Surgery in 2003 when it was one third of the size it has now.
Primary Vaccinations with Nobivac L2 and L4 which is the same with Canigen. We also stock Vanguard and Versican vaccines for dogs and Nobivac Tricat/ fELV, Leucofeligen, Purevax and Pentofel vaccines for cats. Ultrasound Scans of the abdomen and heart carried out by European Diplomate Imaging Specialists.
We are situated at the very beginning of Railton Road, almost opposite Herne Hill Train Station and near Brockwell Park's main gates. There are parking bays outside the Practice where you can park for half an hour for free. You cannot return to the same space for two hours but you can park in another space for another half an hour and so on.
The clinic has an operating theatre which is used for all our sterile procedures. We use up-to-date anaesthetics as well as premedicants which allow for a smooth and safe anaesthetic with a quick recovery period. We use thermocautery for effective coagulation during surgery to reduce the amount of blood loss during operations.

Brockwell Vets have (quite literally) saved my dog with numerous last minute emergency appointments and their reception / vets have always been so understanding to me (and even my occasional tears) during times of stress. Just today they managed to save my dog from the potential toxic effects of a box of mince pies a relative had accidentally left on the floor by seeing him within minutes of my incredibly hectic phone call. So, so indebted to this team and their kindness during the holiday period- thank you guys!

Brockwell Vets have always looked after my two kittens, unfortunately I’ve lost one of them, but Jenny did all she could to help and they were (still are) very considerate, friendly and give best advice in all things concerning pets. The food there is also top quality. I am very lucky to have them 😽

The worst experience with vet i ever had. Everything got to be money at front, it's all about the money first. I NEVER asked to do anything for free but, it could have saved my dog's life if we have discussed before about the exams payment. Plus wasn't the same vet that treated my pet. they are very busy and unprepared docs working. I have video showing the ridiculous state was my dog at the day the sent him home. If he had been hospitalized at the day i took it. He would be here with right now. It gives you the sensation of anger and impotence.

I'm a big fan of Brockwell Vets since I moved in the area.
The vets and the nurses are always very caring, friendly and very helpful despite being always very busy. And they charge a lot less than other vets in the area. In my experience they only offer what is necessary.
Buying cat and fish food while you wait for your consult with the vet is only a bonus.

Although the staff was very welcoming and did find space for consultation on the day, I have to say I’m not happy with the consultation itself and the final bill. The male vet wasn’t really knowledgeable to me, my puppy had a swollen paw and I thought of many causes myself. Vet said to me looks like an insect bite, which was one of the cause I thought, he suggested to give him some pain killer and rest. I asked him if it’d swollen down without any drugs as my dog was fine and could walked, he said yes, however he didn’t give me the time to decide whether I want to give him medicine or not

Positive: Professionalism, Reliability
Not my first veterinary practice but my favorite so far! The reception team were so welcoming and warm. Really felt looked after - not just me but my puppy as well. The appointment was very quick however, the vet explained everything he was doing and why which really put me at ease. Will definitely be recommending this vets
