Dale Barter BVSc MRCVS, Veterinary Surgeon, has worked as a vet in London for over 20 years. He established the Amwell Veterinary Practice in 1997. He believes that by keeping the Practice small he can offer a personal and high quality service to his clients and their pets. Margaret Lamont, Practice Manager, has worked in the Practice since it opened in 1997 providing reception and nursing support whenever it is needed.

After his first employment as a field veterinarian on a Foot and Mouth and Rinderpest Vaccination Programme in the Sultanate of Oman he moved to London to develop his skills in small animal practice. In the process of discovering that London was the place to work he gained a wealth of experience in a number of provincial practices from Norfolk to Wales.
