Services
All Creatures Veterinary Surgery has been accredited as a RCVS Small Animal General Practice. This means that we have to comply with certain core standards such as health and safety, hygiene and legal requirements and provision of 24hr cover, but additionally we have laboratory and other diagnostic facilities, monitor the outcome of treatments and comply with the requirement for ongoing education and training of all our staff.
Our standard appointment time is 20 minutes. This allows a detailed examination of your pet and for the vet to answer any questions you may have. Follow up and post operative appointments may be shorter. In the event of an emergency we will try to see your animal as soon as possible. This may occasionally mean that appointments are delayed.
We have a range of diagnostic equipment including an in-house laboratory, and general and dental X-ray machines. All Creatures Veterinary Surgery was extended 5 years ago to allow separate hospitalisation of cats and dogs and to generally improve and update the existing facilities. We have one standard X-ray machine for general use, and a dental X-ray machine for assessing teeth.
We are continuously striving to give you affordable preventative health care for your pet. Please check here regularly for special offers we have in the clinic! As a Vet, it is very dispiriting to see the number of animals with advanced dental disease, that require multiple extractions. Dental disease is painful for your pet, affects the kidneys, liver and heart, and is costly to treat once established.
Autonomy to make day-to-day decisions to improve systems, processes and client engagement. We are passionately independent, we manage our practice here, not in some remote head office. We believe Veterinary care is changing and that our role is to build the collaborative bond between our vets, our client's and their pets.

So here's a story - I took my 11 month old puppy in for a consult with the owner/vet here as he had this massive scab on the middle and tip of his ear - owner/vet told me it looked like a dog bite so sent me home - £43 cost. 2 days later the 'dog bite' had jumped to the other ear and was now a weeping scab so of course I went back to try and get an accurate diagnosis - was greeted warmly by the lovely staff there but with a bit of an attitude from the vet/owner of the business. she still has no idea what it is so has put him on anti allergy tablets to help with the pain/itching. All ok so far

All Creatures is by far the best vets in the area I've used 2 others and didn't get nearly ½ of the quality and service from them as I do with All Creatures. The receptionist are so polite and friendly & if they have the time will have a lovely chat with you about your pet. The Vets themselves are thorough, professional, polite & explain everything to you in simple terms so you understand everything.
Would recommend to anyone with a pet. The after care of my dogs surgery has been outstanding!!!!

This is a lovely friendly vets, I used to live around the corner but have stayed with them even since I moved. Its fairly pricey, but I think that's just how much vets cost?! Would definitely recommend as they look after my cat very well and always give him compliments!

It was my first time with All Creatures. Being unhappy with my previous vet, having had a bad experience with them, I was slightly cautious. All Creatures could not be more different. They answer the phone immediately, are always attentive and polite and clearly understand how important our pets are to us all. Treatment was punctual, professional and very reasonably priced. I recommend them very warmly.
