It was delightful...the setting is quite unlike a lot of places in that the restaurant offers a lot of opportunities to make your dining experience with friends more private, with almost completely separate areas. We visited to celebrate a friends 40th birthday with five noisy kids between us. The staff where especially friendly and accommodating which is exactly what we needed in these current times. I look forwards to going back as we all do.

Food was average but presented well. A bit expensive. Would return as might be what we order. Seems to be a nice place and near a river which we didn't see as it was dark.

Lovely evening spent in front of the log fire, eating our dinner. Staff were amazing and attentive. Food was good and a nice choice for veggies.

Enjoyed yet another lovely meal today with six friends. The service, as always, was great. We had members of our party who appreciated being seated in a quiet area during this difficult climate. The food was excellent and well presented. Thank you all and Happy Christmas 🎅🏻

Wonderful find on Google map search. Booked for lunch on the way home to South Essex after a stay in Bury St Edmunds. Lovely location by the river. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Sunday lunch was served piping hot and with only a short wait. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Roast beef and roast lamb were equally tasty. The tables are safely spaced out so we felt safe and comfortable. We will be back to visit.

Good Lunch with Friends here last Tuesday. Ladies serving were pleasant and Friendly. Its a lovely place to go and People Watch out by the River. Two of us had the Pork and it was so Tasty. It's not just the Food but the whole experience and its certainly worth a visit.
