First time back here after not visiting for a few years. Service was excellent and the food was perfect. Highly recommend the dhal bhat, a traditional Nepalese set meal, which you can get as a meat or vegetarian dish. My friend from Nepal also agreed the food was good so that must be a good sign!

I was unsure of Nepalese cuisine. Now I'm a convert. Friendly staff, great food and so much of it. For 25 I had more than I could eat. My only disappointment was that I could eat more. ***** 5 stars.

I love this restaurant, delicious menu and staff who really care about your experience. We used their takeaway service during lockdown, which got us through . Thank you Gurkha!

Visited again after year not going out. New menu very expensive. New waitresses helpful but nothing like previous welcoming manager and friendly staff. Small portions. Only 3 main courses for vegetarians - the one we had appeared to be frozen veg in bland curry sauce. Very disappointed overall. Won't be going back.

Make no mistake this is not your ordinary 5 pints of Cobra, 15 poppadoms and a Lamb Madras sort of place - it is far superior to that. Although most of the usual curry house favourites are still available, do yourself a favour and try the Nepalese specialities, they are simply out of this world. Recommended.
