Questions
How do I book a table at The Fish House?
Book online for parties up to 6 people. Contact us directly for larger groups. Outside tables require advance phone booking from 11am the day before.
What are the dining time limits?
Tables for 2 have 2-hour slots for lunch and dinner. Tables of 4+ receive 2 hours lunch or 2.5 hours dinner. We request prompt table vacating at allocated times.
Can I bring my dog to the restaurant?
Dogs are welcome until 4:30pm with maximum 2 per table. They must remain on leads and under control at all times in designated areas.
What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
Cancel online or contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will incur a £15 per person charge from January 2024 onwards.
Is The Fish House featured in the Michelin Guide?
Yes, we hold a Michelin Plate award recognising our commitment to quality seafood preparation and sourcing from Newquay Harbour.
What payment methods do you accept?

I dont have any complaints. The crab claws were served in a sauce almost like a bisque, the gumbo was spot on, and their house dish (shrimp and grits with a fancy name) was amazing! I dont even like grits usually and I couldnt get enough. The service was great.

Our excitement was short lived when I noticed the short, blonde, curly hair on my daughter's burger. The manager was very accommodating though. We did get offered our money back, but lost our appetite. It had to be us.

We got a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp, the gulf shrimp platter (fried) with hush puppies and fries, and crme brle. The shrimp were huge and delicious! Everything was amazing, except the fries (really potato wedges)

I saw "world famous grits" on the menu online and knew I had to go. Got there probably too close to closing but was still greeted with a smile and great service! The shrimp and grits a ya ya did not disappoint! I highly recommend it if you are in the area!

Similar to McGuires, The Fish House is always a solid dining choice in Pensacola. The food was good and the service was friendly. It's been a while since we got the crab claws and we think they changed up their sauce. I can't say for certain if it is different, but this batch was fantastic and I recommend the crab claws. They were crowded when we went, but we managed to squeeze in at the bar. Delicious food.
