It was a lovely friendly place to eat, the food was nice but you paid for the location so a little over priced. We had a cream tea x 2 and cheesey chips(1), it came to just over 21 would of expected to have paid 15-17 normally...still nice though.

Would have liked to give 5 stars but I had a bottle of water which refused to open(not hotels fault) but what was is having a hanging rack for clothes right by a window which leaked all the condensation from the window over my hanging cardigan and jeans and jacket leaving them unwearable(luckily I live in cornwall and was going home after 1 night of a surprise visit for my dad)I will not make the same error on our surprise visit for my sister at the end of this month.The staff are friendly and the rooms(single)are adequate for a 1 night stay.The breakfast was very good as was the food in the restaurant

I was visiting back in 2016 and stayed here for a night. I had no problems whatsoever. The accommodations were excellent!
