A warm welcome awaits you at The Peat Inn, in Peat Inn village, By St Andrew's. The Peat Inn is thought to have been built on this spot in the mid-1700s. Gradually, the surrounding village grew up around the Inn, taking its name from the Inn itself, creating our unusual address: The Peat Inn, Peat Inn.

The chef has worked in prestigious kitchens around the world, and this collection of recipes in part reflects that with its wealth of influences and flavours. From a one-pot Lamb tagine recipe to Vietnamese pho, there is no shortage of aromatic dishes from the around the world in this collection.

It is almost unnecessary to say that the Royal & Ancient Golf Club is the home of world golf. St Andrews warmly welcomes visiting golfers from all over the world. The various courses, a truly global attraction, have not just shaped the town, but seep into its very heart. Built on public land, the 17th and 18th Holes of the Old Course run up to local shops and are flanked by local roads.
