Based in Leicester, Data Academy Ltd is a one-stop training provider to both industry and private individuals for LGV/HGV and B+E licensing. We cover all classes of LGV/HGV and B+E training, and are happy to provide our professional services to all who wish to develop the skills to drive safely and confidently on the roads.

For Driver CPC, Data Academy Limited received the STANDARD of EXCELLENCE award, from Skills for Logistics.
B+E Car & Trailer

Therefore, if you passed after this date, in order to drive a car or van towing a trailer (or caravan or horsebox) with a gross train weight exceeding 3500kg you are required by law to take B+E test (normally towing a trailer weighing over 750Kg gross weight). The B+E test will be conducted in three parts- Reverse, un-couple, couple-up, Road Drive.
HGV Category C
Report
Category C is any rigid vehicle without a trailer, weighing over 7.5 tonnes gross weight, including eight wheel tipper trucks of 32 tonnes gross weight and similar vehicles. This LGV Category C licence must be obtained before you can upgrade to a C+E licence which is the licence required for any large goods vehicle with a trailer such as an Articulated unit and trailer.
HGV Category C+E
Report
Once you have your Category C licence, you can upgrade to C+E. This licence is required for Large Goods Vehicles towing a trailer, (the old Class 1 HGV licence). This LGV licence means you are entitled to drive the largest vehicles allowed on the road in the UK. Driver CPC

UPDATE YOUR DQC (Driver Qualification Card) before it runs out, or simply get up to date with your CPC 35hours. WE RUN A DRIVER 35hr CPC COURSE THE LAST WORKING WEEK OF EVERY MONTH, (EXCEPT DECEMBER), just give us a call to confirm the schedule you require. If you need to check any 35hr CPC progress previously completed, call- Newcastle 01912 018 112, and have your details ready.
