We had a large reserved area in the basement for a group of 60. Great friendly attentive service throughout the evening. And some lovely cheesy chips. Thanks.

Gorgeous city pub that serves good food. I've visited a few times in past usually for work leaving drinks. You're able to book areas which is great. Usually gets very busy on weekday evenings.

First night out in a City pub for a couple of years. We booked a table - service and food was excellent. Not at all bad for pub grub. Would highly recommend the truffle/cheese chips! Good choice of beer too.

I visited the downstairs venue for a company gathering so this review doesn't concern the pub on the ground level:
Food was just ok. Staff were slow and a bit rude. I would've skipped dinner if I knew I'd have to wait half an hour for each meal.

Served quickly, nice enough vibe and good seating. Highlight was the bar manager who managed that space so efficiently - we were gratefully moved to another table to better accommodate our group and allow him to manage the bar space better. Truly a man in control who knows his trade and polite throughout.

Beautiful pub, Manger was brilliant and a laugh. Food was just outstanding and I'll be going back for the food alone, upstairs was nice and the decor was fresh. Down stairs was very nice, if you need a function room then it certainly will be a nice place to be. Very glad I've been and I shall return.
