Services
General Practice
Our core general practice services provide comprehensive medical care for patients of all ages. We offer diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions through in-person consultations, supported by a team of experienced GPs and nurses. Patients benefit from personalized care plans and referrals to specialist services when needed.
Online Consultations
Digital consultation platforms enable patients to access medical advice remotely via video calls, phone consultations, or secure messaging systems. This service streamlines non-urgent care requests, reduces waiting times, and provides 24/7 access to NHS self-care resources through integrated tools like Engage Consult and the NHS App.
Repeat Prescriptions
We process repeat prescription requests through secure online systems and in-person submissions. Patients can manage medication needs efficiently with three working day processing times and pharmacy nomination options. Our pharmacists provide medication guidance and address prescription-related queries during designated hours.
Health Information
Comprehensive health education materials cover conditions, treatments, and preventive care strategies. Resources include NHS-approved guidance on medications, mental health support, flu vaccinations, and pregnancy care, accessible through our website and direct consultation with healthcare professionals.
Emergency Services
For life-threatening emergencies, we direct patients to dial 999 immediately. Non-emergency urgent care is available through NHS 111, which provides 24/7 triage support. Our practice coordinates with emergency services to ensure seamless care transitions for critical health situations.
Questions
How do I book an appointment with a GP?
Complete a triage form online via NHS App, Accurx, or in-person at our reception. A clinician will review your request and schedule the most appropriate consultation method.
What should I do in a medical emergency?
Dial 999 immediately for life-threatening emergencies. For urgent but non-emergency care, contact NHS 111 online or by phone for 24/7 triage support.
Can I access repeat prescriptions online?
Yes, use your NHS account or Accurx system to submit repeat prescription requests. Allow three working days for processing and collect from your nominated pharmacy.
How does the online triage system work?
Our triage system prioritizes urgent cases by assessing symptoms through digital forms. This ensures patients receive the most appropriate care promptly, whether through self-care advice, phone consultation, or face-to-face appointment.
What accessibility features are available?
We provide induction loops, large-print materials, online communication options, and interpreter services. Our facilities include level access and dedicated toilet facilities for disabled patients.

Local health centre, plenty of space and seating. Receptionists are helpful, plenty of Doctors and nurses on site. One pharmacy inside building and one in lower ground floor, outside on the way to the carpark at the rear of the building.

Not good at all. Called at 8 o'clock in the morning asking for a call back and they called me back at 2 o'clock to say a doctor was going to call me between 3 and 5:30
I called back and asked what was going on after waiting at home for a phone call all day for them to say we will call tomorrow afternoon. Been at this doctor all my life and have struggled with undiagnosed mental health issues that have only been sorted at 24 after being referred to mental health team by someone else I was diagnosed with ADHD. I have been suffering my whole life and had great difficulty in school and with my whole

Really slow about doing things. Appears to be reception staff but blame gets passed elsewhere when calling back 7 hours later. Only there due to boundary issues.

Sort out your doctors time management !! Very few of us have an hour to spare to sit in a waiting room especially when not feeling at our best!!!!
OR at least have the decency to offer a public apology to those of us waiting !!! When I enquired I was simply told The reason for the delay is The doctor is thorough!?????? Well then apportion your appointment times accordingly in future !!!!!!!
