A HUGE shout out for Cedar Manor's (festive season) afternoon tea! With a wonderful attention to detail, the food was very tasty (the little pigs in blankets and mash potato went down a storm!), really beautifully presented and all home made. Plus a fab range of tea blends to choose from. As a really nice touch the hotel was more than happy to make us just plain scones for our group of 8. A well deserved 5 out of 5 for their food, their care, helpfulness and friendliness.

A fabulous place to stay. The room was warm and clean with all the added little extras, chocolates, a decanter coffee pot, spa bath, robes, magazines app, great quality shower lotions and potions. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were all lovely and it was clear attention to detail is a priority. Location was perfect for us 7minute walk from the train station. Bus stop literally outside to neighbouring villages Ambleside and Bowness.

First class. The rooms are stunning. Clean and bright. Caroline and Jonathan are so hospitable. Nothing is too much trouble. Would recommend to anyone wishing to have a peaceful stay away from home.
