Strength Asylum, is a bodybuilding and fitness gym in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. Strength Asylum was designed for people serious about training by people serious about training. Our aim was to create the best environment for producing real results, a no-nonsense facility with the best equipment available.

One of the largest independent gyms in the UK we have over 150 pieces of strength equipment Hammer Strength & Life Fitness covering 13500 sq/ft. Extensive free weights area with approximately 10000kg's of plates, and dumbbells up to 100kg's! Fully qualified and experienced Personal Trainers to help with strength, fitness and weight loss.

Founded by Gary Jones son of Arthur Jones (creator of the infamous Nautilus brand), Hammer Strength built its reputation on the pure performance and sound biomechanics of Plate-Loaded equipment.

With the rise in interest in Powerlifting and Olympic Weight Lifting we are continuing to expand our facilities in this area. We already have specialist bars, bumper plates, Eleiko competition powerlifting plates, several Hammer Strength power racks and platforms, and a variety of specialist grip training equipment.

We have an array of the latest cardiovascular equipment including, treadmills, cross-trainers, stair climbers, bikes, steppers and rowers. We also have functional training apparatus including Prowlers, Kettlebell's, Battle Ropes, Bulgarian Bags, Core Bags, Medicine and Slam Balls with a separate studio for floor work and stretching.
