Suffering from generalised aches and pains? We aim to provide high quality osteopathic care in a friendly environment, giving time, treatment, and advice to each patient. We are a team of experienced practitioners with a range of specialist knowledge, having been in practice for over 14 years, all registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

The two most common problems are notably back pain and neck ache. These areas of the body often suffer from pain and stiffness, as they are vunerable to strain in our day to day lives. Your first consultation will last between 30 - 40 minutes. Within this time your case history and medical details will be taken to assess your symptoms and general health.

Emergency appointments are usually available each day for those patients ringing before 10.00am. Eastbourne Osteopath Mark Walsh D.O has been qualified for 25 years, having trained at the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone and graduating in 1985. He is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), the professional body that governs osteopathy in Great Britain.
What is Osteopathy

Osteopathy is an established, recognised system of diagnosis and treatment that is used for treating a wide range of medical conditions including particularly pain in the lower back, neck ache and the pain of arthritis. Pain in other joints is also often able to be relieved by osteopathic treatment (these are described more fully on 'Common Problems' page).

Your First Consultation

Your first consultation will last approximately 30 minutes. Within this time, your case history and medical details will be taken to assess your symptoms and general health. Following this, an examination of your spine and relevant joints will be undertaken. Treatment is included in your first visit.
You're in good hands

It typically takes 4 years to become a qualified osteopath, and requires over 1,000 hours of clinical training. We are also required to maintain our skills through ongoing training and professional development. Osteopathy is a regulated profession, with all osteopaths required by law to register with the General Osteopathic Council, who ensure that all osteopaths operate to high professional standards.
