Architectural Process

The architectural process consists of several different phases and you can choose to engage our services in a way that best suits your needs. For example, you may only require us to complete a survey and produce drawings or you may want us to manage your project from concept to completion. We give you the freedom and flexibility to use our services as you wish.
Project Management

At this stage a Specification and Schedule of Works including preliminaries in line with JCT form of contract is prepared, these details are sent with an Invitation to Tender to a small number of contractors. These documents detail the terms and conditions of the contract and the quality of workmanship and materials.
Vehicle Crossing Applications
Report
If you intend to create a new vehicle crossing or you wish to alter an existing Vehicle crossover (drop kerb), then you will need to apply to the Council's Highways Department, or in some cases Essex County Council, depending on the local authority you are applying to.
The Highways department will normally require scaled plans detailing the position of the crossover, existing and proposed drive finishes, and the location of nearby tree's and other obstructions to assess whether or not your proposal meets their criteria.In some cases Planning Permission may also be required.
