Here at Fairfield House we have been caring for animals for over sixty years and all services, including a 24 hour out-of hours emergency service for our clients, are provided at our own premises by our own veterinary staff. We combine the traditional values of a long established independent veterinary practice with the up to date knowledge of an experienced and vibrant staff.
Being able to cuddle him in our arms in the boot of our car as he was given his final injection was so special we could not have been closer to him, or him to us, as we buried our heads into his fur and whispered our love as he fell asleep in our arms. Thank you for making Jasper's last moments as precious as all the days and years that preceded them.

Companion Animals

The companion animal section of the practice has grown beyond all recognition since the practice started in 1953. In those days companion animal consultations were only held once a day between 2 and 2.30pm. In the case of an emergency or if you need urgent advice please phone the surgery number on 01825 764268.

We have seen most of the vets with our injury prone animals and have never been disappointed. Knowledgeable, attentive and caring vets. They are independent and offer 24 hour out of hours service which is invaluable in an emergency and sets apart from other corporate practices. We have never received anything less than the highest quality veterinary care from them.

The best vets practice in East Sussex. You are in very safe, compassionate and competent hands. Our beautiful Labrador had to be put down during lockdown in November and they could not have been kinder. When we arrived, they explained the options we could choose, took him inside to insert a line and then brought him back so we could cuddle him in our arms as he died. It was so beautiful, so peaceful and they said we could have as long as we wanted to be with him. Would not go anywhere else.
