La Lluna brings the best of traditional and modern tapas to North London. Our restaurant is the first and only Spanish restaurant in Muswell Hill, right on the Broadway. We welcome our amazing Flamenco musician and dancer at 18:30 and 20:30 every Wednesday and Sunday for an immersive experience in our open plan layout.
There is paid parking around the Broadway, or free parking bays directly outside from 18:30 onwards. Our freshly made Spanish food is based on premium local and organic ingredients and specialties from Spain, such as cheese, jamon and padron peppers. The wide range of charcuterie products and nibbles perfectly matches with a glass of Spanish wine, a jug of fruity Sangria or one of our refreshing signature cocktails.

Honest review: I stopped there for a breakfast over a month ago. 20min waited for someone to give me menu and take the order; another 25min for breakfast to arrive. I was waiting all together 45min to eat something! And it was not busy, most of the waitress were chatting and laughing at the bar. Customers next to me also complained for lack of interest from the staff. All I got was a fresh juice served in broken glass.
After 45min hungry willing to pay only for the juice, they offered me the juice as a free will.. I went for breakfast to opposite cafe and I was served immediately, I enjoyed the

Delicious tapas and excellent service. The decor and music are a bit on the nose Spanish. Like, how many paintings of women in red dresses do you really need? Prices could be lower. But each dish is like a little artwork in itself. The vegetarian options don’t disappoint either. It’s very pleasant to sit inside just next to the street in summertime.

Honestly, can't say how this little spot has remained off the radar for so long. I've eaten at a number of Spanish tapas places around town, but this little local is fan-tastic !
The kitchen staff really know their stuff, producing classics with flair. Presentation is great - all their dishes look so appealing and sophisticated. The cocktail menu is excellent and worth popping in for alone, or paired with a snack at the bar.
I'd recommend booking on weekends as it gets really busy and altho' the restaurant has just recently expanded in size, it is still buzzing with clientele
