Questions
What conditions can acupuncture treat?
Acupuncture effectively addresses chronic pain, migraines, fertility issues, anxiety, digestive disorders, and paediatric conditions through holistic energy balancing techniques.
Is acupuncture safe for children?
Yes, we use gentle, non-invasive techniques adapted for children. Treatments incorporate play and last only 30 minutes with parental supervision throughout.
How many sessions will I need?
Most patients require weekly sessions for six weeks initially, followed by fortnightly maintenance treatments as improvements stabilise over time.
Do the needles hurt?
Patients may feel a slight ache during needle insertion, but most experience minimal discomfort. Paediatric treatments use immediate needle removal to ensure comfort.
Can I combine acupuncture with other treatments?
Yes, acupuncture complements conventional medicine and other therapies. We coordinate care with your healthcare providers for comprehensive treatment outcomes.
What should I wear for treatment?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows access to acupuncture points on arms, legs, and back for optimal treatment effectiveness.

Report
Having been diagnosed with a generative disc decided to try alternative medicine rather than take painkillers. Pleased I went to Jemma. After a thorough consultation Jemma assured me that with 4 sessions of acupuncture I would start to see improvements. True to her word and along with excellent procedures I can honestly say I have seen considerable improvement. I have never tried acupuncture before but after this positive experience I would have again and would not hesitate to return to Jemma for treatment. Thoroughly recommend.
