Ashtanga yoga is a very dynamic, energetic and physically challenging form of Hatha yoga. Its main focus is on deep breathing as you travel through a set sequence of therapeutic yoga postures. Breath is synchronised with movement guiding you through the practice. Forrest yoga has been developed by Ana Forrest over 30 years to address the physical and emotional stresses and challenges of today's people.

We understand that yoga needs to fit into your schedule, so we've created a video on demand option that gives you the opportunity to stream recorded yoga sessions of your most favourite Equilibrium teachers at any time you like. The sessions are suitable for people who have a basic understanding of yoga, who have ideally done some sessions at Equilibrium before and would like to continue on their yoga path with their familiar teachers.

Tips for Beginners

If you are a beginner to yoga and would like to start slowly we recommend picking a class from the Yoga Workshops and Yoga Beginner Courses pages. The beginner courses require pre-booking. Drop-ins are only possible if there are spaces. Priority is given to course bookings. Where possible book your course one or two weeks in advance, as they tend to fill up quickly.
