The Quarter Jack Surgery
Medical settings are a higher risk environment and will need to be subject to more control measures than other public facilities. The delta variant is more transmissible and patients may come to the surgery when they are contagious. It is our duty to do all we can to keep both our patients and our staff safe whilst we deliver our care.

We understand our patients are waiting longer to get through to us. Since last year, phone calls have increased by up to an exceptional 100%. We received 6,000 calls last March, but over 12,000 calls in October, and still 9,500 calls this March.

It has a tower adorned with a brass replica of the Minster's Quarter Jack. The Quarter Jack was chosen because it remains a popular symbol in Wimborne Town, recognising the past as well as the present. The original Quarter Jack, high up on one of the Minster's towers, has kept watch over Wimborne people for centuries.
