The local community is at the heart of our business and we use some of the best local produce and ingredients that we can find. We bake our food fresh without additives or preservatives and make all our food from cakes to bread.
We also are part of the Real Bread Campaign. The building was built in 1927 and opened in 1929 as the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Huntingdonshire Electricity Company Showroom. This building was designed to show off the wonders of electricity and to try to convince people that gas powered lamps were a thing of the past.

During the day, Elsie May's is open for eat in as well as takeaway. If you're eating in, you can choose to sit inside or outside in our secret garden. We love to bake and we only serve homemade food which is made by our wonderful team at Elsie May's. We're known for our scrumptious scones, delicious homemade cakes and freshly made breads.
