We're not ones to brag, but we're pretty proud of The California Hotel. We like to think of her as a rather special city guest hotel - one with a genuine personal touch. She's run by honest people who love what they do. Whilst we have closed our doors this month, we will continue to support essential business travellers (with documented proof of travel from their employers) and NHS workers at our sister hotel The Gyle.

The Rob Roy was created at the famous New York City Waldorf-Astoria in the 1890s.
