One of the main strengths of Osteopathy is the unique way in which you'll be assessed from a mechanical, functional and postural standpoint. This means that any treatment you receive from our male or female osteopaths here at our York osteopathic practice will be tailor-made to suit you, as an individual.

If you are new to the practice, an initial consultation is required. This gives your osteopath opportunity to complete a thorough assessment and perform some treatment. A follow up appointment is quite often required in the weeks following your initial consultation. Your osteopath will give you an idea of how many sessions may be required at your initial consultation.

On graduation, she worked in a large osteopathic practice in Beverley and Cottingham before setting up in York in 2006. Training at the BCOM has an emphasis on the importance of good nutrition and exercise, as well as osteopathic treatment, so Jacqui is ideally placed to offer nutritional advice and guidance as well.

You can park free of charge on the following roads: Main Avenue, Second and Third Avenues. You can park for up to an hour on East Parade or Bull Lane (before 2pm). There are limited spaces in East Parade Car park. Your osteopathic treatment is covered by all health insurance companies, such as WPA, Norwich Union, HSA and LHF (with the exception of BUPA and AXA PPP).

Jo offers a wide range of therapies and approaches to address whatever challenges you have, physically, mentally and emotionally. She has over 20 years experience as a nurse within the NHS and has worked as a complimentary therapist for 11 years in both the NHS and private practice. Jo has a special interest and experience with anxiety, burnout, chronic fatigue syndrome and irritable bowel syndrome including providing Gut Directed Hypnotherapy.
