Meet the veterinary surgeons at Spring Lodge, of which many are working towards further qualifications in specialist subjects including surgery, acupuncture and emergency and critical care. They are complemented by a team of fourteen registered veterinary nurses and two student nurses. In addition, we have patient care assistants to support the veterinary team.
At each clinic we have dedicated veterinary receptionists who can assist and advise on how to keep your pet happy and in the best of health and of course a team of administrative staff to assist with the running of the clinics. All members of the practice team are encouraged to continually develop their skills within the hospital and clinics through formal continuing professional development.

If you have any questions regarding our services or the service you're looking for isn't listed above, please get in touch - we are here to help! As our pets get older their health needs change and they can begin to develop all sorts of age related health issues, such as diabetes, kidney or liver disease, arthritis and heart disease.
Pet Advice
Report
In all mammals, antibodies in the mother's milk protect them from becoming ill during the first few weeks of their lives. After the animal has stopped sucking from its mother, this immunity reduces and they must develop their own immunity. Owners and vets have a responsibility and duty of care to protect the animals they care for against infectious diseases by giving them vaccinations.
Emergencies
Report
Should your pet need emergency care within our opening hours, please call your usual surgery number. We are now also open from 12:30pm - 5:30pm on Saturday and 8:00am - 5:30pm on Sundays at our Witham Hospital. This is an emergency service for Spring Lodge clients that is staffed by our own vets and nurses.
Video Vet
Report
We've partnered with Video Vets Now so you can speak to a vet from home or out and about - 7 days a week between 8am and 11pm. Consults are 10 mins and cost 24. If your pet needs to be seen by us or Vets Now, your original 24 payment will be refunded. We partnered with Video Vets Now to help you get the advice and reassurance you need, wherever you are.
